Privacy Policy

1. Account & What We Store

LingoCall AI does not require you to create an account with your name or email. You are identified by an anonymous device identifier. To provide the service, we store your learning profile (the language you're learning, your native language, your level and the display name you choose), your conversation history and any vocabulary you save. You can optionally sign in with Apple or Google to keep your progress across devices; if you do, we receive only the basic identifier that provider returns.

2. Microphone & Conversation Data

When you start a voice conversation, the App accesses your microphone to capture what you say. Your speech and messages are sent to our AI provider in real time so the tutor can understand you and respond.

• Audio: Microphone audio is streamed to the AI provider to transcribe and understand your speech during a conversation. We do not store raw audio recordings of you.
• Transcripts: Text transcripts of your practice conversations are stored on our servers so you can revisit your history and so the tutor can keep context.
• Saved words: Vocabulary you choose to save is stored to help you review later.

Please do not share sensitive personal information (such as financial details, government IDs or health data) inside a conversation — messages are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate responses.

3. Diagnostics & Purchases

To keep the App stable and to manage subscriptions, we use a small amount of non-personally identifiable data via the following services:

• Firebase Crashlytics: Technical logs related to software crashes (e.g., device model, OS version) to fix bugs.
• Firebase Analytics: Aggregated, anonymous statistics (e.g., session duration, screens viewed) tied to a random device identifier.
• RevenueCat: Used to track purchase status and active subscriptions via an anonymous user ID associated with your device. It does not store your credit card or financial information.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your conversations to advertise to you.

4. Third-Party Services

The App relies on external providers that operate under their own privacy frameworks:

• OpenAI: Processes your microphone audio and messages to transcribe your speech, generate the AI tutor's replies, and power translations and corrections.
• Google Firebase: For anonymous analytics and crash reporting.
• RevenueCat: For subscription tracking and purchase verification.
• Apple / Google Sign-In (optional): Only if you choose to sign in to sync your progress.
• App Store / Google Play: For app distribution and payment processing.

Your conversations are processed by OpenAI under its applicable terms. LingoCall AI's AI characters are fictional and their responses are generated automatically.

5. International Data Transfers & KVKK / GDPR

Conversation, diagnostic and purchase-state data processed by the providers above may be stored on servers located outside your country (including outside the EEA and Türkiye). This transfer complies with Article 9 of the Turkish KVKK and relevant GDPR safeguards.

6. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You can delete your account and the data associated with it at any time from within the App (Settings → Manage account → Delete account), which removes your profile, conversations, saved words and related records from our servers. Any store subscription is managed separately through Apple or Google.
